Our Mission

The Radnor Community Preservation Coalition (RCPC) is a non-partisan association of neighborhood groups, including residents and business owners. We have a responsibility to be stewards of our community, to defend the principles that planned it, and to uphold the laws that protect it.

The MISSION of the Coalition is to inform, educate, and communicate with the Radnor community about neighborhood preservation and enhancement issues.

The VISION of RCPC is to support the Board of Commissioners, its related boards and commissions, and the staff in the Township Administration as they serve our interests. We will educate ourselves about all issues related to pertinent projects, communicate these issues to members of our associations and the community at large, encourage the volunteer efforts of our community, and participate in the public process to preserve and protect the quality of our lives in Radnor Township.

Our interests include, but are not limited to, the preservation and enhancement of:

1 Neighborhoods and their cohesiveness
2 Population diversity and affordable housing
3 Open space
4 Historic assets
5 Physical character, natural beauty and other environmental issues
6 Quality of life issues – parking, storm water management, density, scale, traffic.

The Radnor Community Preservation Coalition understands the complexities faced by our local Board of Commissioners, its related boards and commissions, and the staff in the Township Administration. By sharing our vision, we will support their efforts to mold the Township’s future.
